The Hunger Games are played each year in the Country of Panem. Every year, one boy and one girl between ages of 12 and 18 come from each of the twelve districts as tributes. But, this year, the rules have changed. It's no longer just two tributes in the games, representing one district. It's as many as The Capitol pleases. Of course the 12 districts were shocked when they heard the new rule, but they couldn't do anything if they wanted to stay alive. They prepare for a week and then go into an outdoor arena to fight to the death. The event is nationally televised and the last living tribute is declared the winner.
